We provide a growing range of martial arts centric qualifications and awards in subjects such as Safeguarding, First Aid, and more. Some of these courses – such as our Level 1 and 2 Qualification – are free for all members to complete. Some of our other courses are ‘premium’ meaning they are ‘charged for’.
A number of our instructor memberships feature some or all of these qualifications without charge. For example, Silver Instructor membership includes access to our Safeguarding Qualifications. We also bundle some of our courses into our auxiliary memberships – such as for assistant instructors or volunteers.
You should roughly know what courses are included in your membership, or that of your assistant instructors etc, as we clearly advertise this at the point of registration or purchase. If you’re not sure what’s included, please consult the sign up page or contact us for guidance.
Redeeming Access To Courses
Premium - If you're a silver or Gold instructor, you can access every qualification we offer without paying a penny. You should use the 'my extras' section of MyBMABA to find the premium redemption code. Simply add the course(s) to your basket, and enter the unique coupon codes at checkout to ensure they are £0. Once 'purchased', you'll have immediate access.
Automatically Enabled – For some other memberships, you may find that enrolment to the course is automatically included. You can find out if this is the case by visiting Your Courses & Qualifications. Courses which are pre-enabled will show a ribbon with text along the lines of ‘enrolled’ or ‘start now’. Clicking through to the course should allow you to immediately start.
Accessing New Courses
If you’re an instructor, you’ll find new courses available as and when they’re launched via the online redemption link (see above).
Trouble Accessing Paid For Courses
Depending on your membership, you may need to request access from the team here and we’re more than happy to do that for you. Likewise, if you can't find the access codes to courses you think should be available, please ask the team for help. The fastest way to reach us is live chat during office hours, but we’re accessible via a number of other means too.
