Why Isn't My Renewal Showing?

Questions and concerns around membership and insurance renewal and expiry

Updated over a year ago

First things first, the important thing to stress is the moment you've either;

A: Placed an online renewal in MyBMABA and made payment

OR

B: Raised a request with the office for renewal - such as a quote, or a question around renewal - with the team;

You remain fully licenced and insured, regardless of what the system may show.

This is important!

Lot's of people panic when they see membership dates roll over to being 'out of date'. The expiry notice mentions this - but just to reassure you - if you've made any payment or you've messaged us via a trusted source (such as email or web chat etc) you remain fully covered without interruption.

Why haven't my details updated?

It's normal for renewals to take up to 10 working days to process after your renewal date. Sometimes when the office is absolutely manic, it can take a little longer. It goes without saying we're sincerely sorry in advance if you're kept waiting more than a few days beyond your membership renewal date.

There's a manual administrative process required our end to formalise the renewal, and to issue documentation for you to download. The moment this is done, the renewal order completes and you should also receive a confirmation email for your new membership term. Once this is done, you can download documents and your membership details should show updated in MyBMABA too.

Can't see your renewal documents or think it's taking too long?

Don't worry. Please message us on chat and we'll be happy to double check and - where needed - expedite the process. We never mind you chasing up and double checking!

I Urgently Need Documents

No problem. Please jump onto chat, and drop us a line. We can turn around same-day documentation where needed.

Please remember, we're a small team handling an extremely large volume of enquiries and requests. We'll do our best to help, but please do bare in mind our expectations and realities.
