Community is divided into Spaces (also known as Rooms). These are individual channels or areas dedicated to specific topics or communities.

To personalise your experience:
Click your profile icon in the top-right of the Community platform
Select “Profile”
From here you can:
Upload a photo or logo
Add a short bio (great for networking)
Include your location or club name (optional)
Control visibility and privacy settings
Your profile helps others connect with you professionally, and helps BMABA staff or regional leaders reach out with relevant opportunities.
🔔 Managing Notifications
You are automatically subscribed to core spaces like updates and announcements to ensure you don’t miss anything important.
But you’re always in control:
Email or in-app notifications can be adjusted from your profile (Settings → Notifications)
Choose how often you receive alerts (real-time, daily summary, or none)
Mute or leave any space that doesn’t feel relevant to you
