What Is The 1to1 Web Development Service & What's Included?
Our 1to1 Web Development service offers you a unique and genuinely bespoke private session with a senior Wordpress and full-stack developer. This developer works in house as part of the BMABA core team, and will be primarily an expert in Web Design and User Experience, specialising in Wordpress.
The developer will be able to help with anything Wordpress related. We ask them to stick to Wordpress, as it is then the universal software of choice for BMABA clubs which makes it much faster and smoother for us to help with innovation and upgrades in the future.
If you don't have a Wordpress website yet, but would like to use the Developer Service that's absolutely fine. They can set up an install for you although we would recommend you do this first to make the most of their time. You can activate a site for free or migration one across for free from here.
You may have more than one developer, depending on availability or any specialist skills needed. This doesn't mean less inclusive time - we'll still ensure you have the full time allocation.
You can ask your web developer to do anything you like. Improve an existing site, work on a user flow, try and integrate a new plugin or service - it's your time, and your choice. You can even ask them to help you build a brand new website from scratch!
Some Suggestions...
Website Audits: A great use of this time is to ask for a Website Audit, in which a developer will look through your existing site and make improvements where possible. This can include a close look at your security setup, your SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and how visible you are online, or suggestions on site design and user experience.
Site Refreshes: We can help give your website a new 'lick of paint'. Be that shaking up the theme, visual appearance, fonts or anything else to bring it back to life.
Content Creation: We can help insert and format content for you, for example taking a Word document of text and images and creating a visually stunning, formatted page.
Full Site Design: Provided it can be done in the alloted time, our developers can also undertake full website designs, setting up pages, designs, layouts and inserted content.

What Can I Access With Membership
We allocate a free allowance based on membership. That's set as per the following;
Bronze Members: 1 Hour (Worth £120)
Silver Members: 2 Hours (Worth £240)
Gold Members: 3 Hours (Worth £360)
This is the total dedicated annual time for a one-to-one project or task. Our developer will do their best to advise if it's possible to complete the task in the allocated time.
Free Support
Please don't think if you use this time, you then can't lean out for support getting your site setup, migrated, club manager plugged in or anything else throughout the year. You absolutely can and we offer free unlimited support from our team of developers and web admins as much as needed throughout the year. This limit refers to a dedicated 'more advanced' or specific project, for example, creating a unique website design just for you rather than helping you create something in Elementor more generally.
Additional Or On-Going Costs
If your project exceeds the allocated time or if at any time you'd like to purchase additional time with a developer for a specific project (for example, a dedicated website build) we're happy to allocate this on a basis of £40 per hour which is substantially less than you'd pay at any other UK agency (which is typically upward of £120 per hour with a minimum service cost). You can discuss any web development needs or ask for a quote for anything specific at any point throughout the year and if you'd like to, we can setup rolling monthly allocations of time too.
Limitations & Exclusions
Our developer will be constrained by the amount of time included in your membership allowance. This is to keep things fair, and ensure we don't have one or two clubs tieing up the whole team on a project that should cost £20,000! Our developer will do their best to advise you if they think the project can be completed in the timescale, but that's not always going to be completely accurate as quite often the full scope or requirements of the job won't be known until they start.
We'll exercise some discretion with this, where we can (for example, if the developer hits your time limit but only has a very small amount remaining they won't 'drop-tools' and abandon the project!).
Please also note that our developers, whilst full-stack, can only develop on existing, known website networks - i.e: WordpressbyBMABA, or our managed Wordpress hosting provision. We can't undertake work for you on external websites, software or hosting provisions. There may also be some technical limitations to the work we are prepared to undertake, but we'll discuss this with you at the time.
If you need work doing on an existing website, we might suggest a free (and not out of your time!) migration to our hosting first. We can only offer this service for Wordpress or Wordpress related setups that our hosted by us, or within our platform (i.e: WordpressbyBMABA etc).
