Approved Disciplines & Weapons

BMABA works with clubs from over one hundred disciplines and styles. To ensure a quality and regulatory framework that is robust, properly protected and can provide adequate insurances from our group cover policy, we approve a set list of disciplines and weapons.

You'll need to be practicing one or more of the styles to apply online.

Missing a style or weapon?

We can add new styles or weapons not on the list via approval through our insurer network by request. It's not always possible and can take a few weeks, but if in doubt please raise the issue with us on chat or via email and we'll be happy to review this for you.

Spot Some Crossover?

We list every variation of a style by name here just as it shows on an application form, so you may well find lots of generic terms, variations and umbrella terms for the same discipline.
