Inclusive Free Subdomain Website

If you use one of our inclusive free member’s websites (i.e: yoursite.ukmartialarts.org) and you choose to discontinue your BMABA membership, the following will occur at approximately the time-lines set out;

  1. Within 14 days of your membership expiry date passing, your site will be locked down. You won’t be able to make changes anymore, and member’s of the public will be redirected to a MartialHost suspension page.

  2. 28 days after your membership expires, we will archive your site into deep-storage. The domain will usually be put into a dormant state for 12 months however there’s no guarantee at this point any data or domains can be re-activated if you should change your mind and rejoin.

  3. After 1 year, we will permanently erase your site, content and domain. The domain you had reserved (i.e: yourclub.martialarts.org.uk) will be available for other members to use.

Your site is conditional on continued membership. Whilst you should find we can usually recover sites suspended within 28 days of your membership expiring should you have accidentally let your membership lapse, it’s important to be clear that this is not always the case so you should assume all content is lost when your membership expires.

Premium Website (Redeemed With Gold Memberships)

Exactly the same process as set out above will occur with any full domains hosted via our inclusive membership perks. This means if you redeem a full site (i.e: yoursite.com) as part of Gold or Platinum membership and either discontinue membership or move down to a membership level that does not include this type of feature, the following will occur;

  1. Within 14 days of your membership expiry date passing, or the downgrade occuring, your site will be locked down. You won’t be able to make changes anymore, and member’s of the public will be redirected to a MartialHost suspension page.

  2. 28 days after your membership expires or is downgraded we will archive your site into deep-storage. The domain will usually be put into a dormant state for 12 months however there’s no guarantee at this point any data or domains can be re-activated if you should change your mind and rejoin or upgrade.

  3. If you have a full domain (i.e: yoursite.com) it’s important to note that MartialHost will discontinue the automatic renewal. The domain name might not run strictly in-line with your membership, so it could expire before or after the renewal/downgrade point.

  4. After 1 year or sooner, if the domain is set to expire beforehand, we will permanently erase your site, content and domain. The domain you had reserved (i.e: yourclub.martialarts.org.uk) will be available for other members to use.

SUPER IMPORTANT
It’s very important to understand that not only will the physical URL (domain – yoursite.com etc) and content be erased, but associated services such as webmail (i.e: [email protected]) will also be closed down when your hosting is suspended.

We can't recover emails in your inbox, or any emails lost that may have been sent to you.
